Valley Forward's Mill Mountain Restaurant Proposal's
Visual Impact Within the Park

• Valley Forward has publicized a list of groups and a TV station poll which have given their blessing to
the proposed Mill Mtn. restaurant project. Below is a visual presentation (based on the site diagram and
architect's renderings) of the building in relation to the park's playground & picnic space.

• We believe that either those groups will be surprised to discover what they have agreed to,
or, if not, it indicates they have little or no concern for the project's impact
on the park's mountaintop area.

• If the building's site is relocated, that would not alter the fact that those groups and
individuals polled gave approval to the plan as shown here.

The following views, keyed by number to the Valley Forward diagram (below, right)
of the site of the proposed Mill Mountain restaurant building, show photographically the
planned relationship of the building to the park's limited open area and
how strongly dominating the building would be.
