Shanna's Pittsburgh restaurant with a view

In her April 22 article (Roanoke Times), Shanna Flowers was enthusiastic about the view from the LeMont Restaurant, but didn't show us this view. She spoke of enjoying seeing the city from this perch, saying she likes to "look low" when she is up high. But the unmentioned part of the view equation is what is shown in this photograph: what one sees when being down low and looking high.

Flowers accepted Valley Forward's claim that their Mill Mountain Park restaurant would not have a city view. (Actually, it would have a view of part of the city and the valley, though not an unobstructed view.) Flowers wrote that her attitude is: “If we’re going to exploit the mountain, let’s exploit the heck out of it. In other words, take out a swath of trees to open up a vista.”
